Monarch is an association of dentists started by Drs. John Hung and Anita B Gärtner. It began with a staff of seven and has now grown to over twenty employees. Monarch dentists now provide pediatric services from the main clinic, the Children's Hospital OR and a private general anaesthetic facility. Monarch has now expanded to a new location in Port Moody with an additional Individual Dental Incorporation: Dr. Peter Chan. Both locations also cooperate with Monarch Pediatric Orthodontic Centre to offer orthodontic services.
